Toyota YARIS CROSS - Crash Test & Driving AWD

With the yaris cross, Toyota has produced a true small-scale SUV, offering customers the raised driving position, practicality and interior spaciousness they desired in a compact car that makes it perfect for urban driving. The design evokes classic SUV features, with a taller body and larger wheels that convey strength and character. One of the features that distinguish the new yaris cross as a true SUV is the availability of an intelligent all-wheel drive system - a unique feature in its class for a #hybrid vehicle. AWD - offers stability and traction in everyday driving, in difficult conditions and on low-grip surfaces. The electric system is more compact and weighs less than mechanical AWD units, and helps the yaris cross Hybrid AWD-i achieve better fuel economy and CO2 emissions than its competitors in the B-SUV segment and all-wheel drive. Finally, the AWD-i version features double wishbone suspensions for perfect road holding.
