The new generation of American #luxury​ SUVs par excellence #Cadillac​ Escalade 2021 has finally been unveiled, after several teasers that promised large amounts of technological content. The aesthetics of the luxury #SUV​ is quite different from that of the model we tested about a year ago, especially in the front. The headlights are now reminiscent of those of the lower-end XT6, while the front grille remains faithful to the Escalade style. However, the general forms remain very square and imposing. Mechanically a new independent rear suspension system has been adopted, and it should be the same as found on Chevrolet's new Tahoe and Yukon. The new interior offers even more space, thanks to an increase in the wheelbase and overall length of the car: the key figures are a 40% increase in legroom in the third row of seats and + 68% in the luggage compartment volume (722 liters) in the standard length model. Cadillac Escalade 2021 will also be equipped with the Super Cruise autonomous driving system, which allows the car to drive fully autonomously on approximately 322,000 kilometers of North American highways. The system, among other things, has very recently received a major software update that includes automatic lane change. There will also be an augmented reality satellite navigation system: the company says that the central display will show the real-time feed of the road in front of the SUV, with all the driving directions overprinted - when to turn, when to change lanes and more. . The range of USB ports is very complete to recharge your electronic gadgets: two Type-A and three Type-C. Also provided for the NFC and an area dedicated to wireless charging. The last optional gadget worthy of mention is the electric locking of the doors thanks to a special motor.
